Hi, this is conservative candor and I'm Dr. Carl Mumpower...

True conservatives, knowing that reality wins in the end, resist the temptations of dishonesty and deception. On the other hand, the truth is relative crowd view lies as a weapon of necessity - as long as that weapon has a silencer attached. The objective is to lie and appear not to lie. Former trial lawyer, Senator, and Presidential candidate John Edwards is a master at this art. So to it seems is his mistress Rielle Hunter. When interviewed by Oprah Winfrey, Ms. Hunter masterfully deflected everything that might have anything to do with personal accountability. Why have an affair with an emotionally unavailable man - because he was spiritually available. Why did John have an affair - to make his life a life of truth. Why didn't you wait - because our hearts were louder than our minds. Though we can contort our mouth and brain, truth cannot really be stretched. When searching for truth, it helps to remember that anyone who seems too good to be true probably isn't - and though people can be fooled - Mother Nature's laws of accountability can't...

Talking Head Theater (9-3-10)

Hi - this is Dr. Carl with today's candid conservative minute...

Though the conservative movement is blessed with some brilliant voices, it might be time for a drug screen on the studio water coolers. Some of the sharpest minds in the business are increasingly demonstrating behaviors typical to histrionic psychiatric patients. Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Ann Coutler can blow away the left with their wit and wisdom. More and more they seem to be trying to blow up their polls. Who the heck cares whose number 1? What conservatives care about is cognitively correct perspectives on social, governmental, religious, and other matters that bring us closer to truth. Slapstick comedy, head banger music, and juvenile presentations distract from and damage the essence of the discussion. Leave the polls, slapstick, and hysterics to the guys who are best at it - the leftheaded talking heads. Our important conservative voices need to get back on track with their compelling dedication to reality, reason, responsibility, and right. As has been proven, the polls will then take care of themselves...
