Hi, this is conservative candor and I'm Dr. Carl Mumpower...

The fact that life kills us is proof positive we live in a toxic world. We may not have the power to live forever, but we do have the power to choose our poison. Though history gives us a clear review of life models that work and don't work, mankind's vanity retains a close kinship to the fantasy of 'new and improved'. Like unscrupulous used car dealers repainting a junker, today's self-described 'progressives' are repackaging socialism. Running contrary to nature, socialism, like communism and fascism seek to separate man from reality. Conservatism, on the other hand, is the greenest of philosophies in that if fully embraces nature's truths. Greed, dishonesty, and manipulation can corrupt conservatives just like anyone else. Still, with a firm dedication to nature's preferences for reality, reason, responsibility, and right, conservatives are better able to self-correct. The other 'isms' of man have no matching safeguards and are mainly designed to self-destruct. Socialism is a bitter lemon - with a nice coat of paint it's just a rotten apple.

Hi - this is Dr. Carl with today's candid conservative minute...

Though the conservative movement is blessed with some brilliant voices, it might be time for a drug screen on the studio water coolers. Some of the sharpest minds in the business are increasingly demonstrating behaviors typical to histrionic psychiatric patients. Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Ann Coutler can blow away the left with their wit and wisdom. More and more they seem to be trying to blow up their polls. Who the heck cares whose number 1? What conservatives care about is cognitively correct perspectives on social, governmental, religious, and other matters that bring us closer to truth. Slapstick comedy, head banger music, and juvenile presentations distract from and damage the essence of the discussion. Leave the polls, slapstick, and hysterics to the guys who are best at it - the leftheaded talking heads. Our important conservative voices need to get back on track with their compelling dedication to reality, reason, responsibility, and right. As has been proven, the polls will then take care of themselves...
