Government is Heartless and so are Socialists (5-28-10)

Hi, this is conservative candor and I'm Dr. Carl Mumpower...

One of the many great myths of progressive socialism is that government has a heart. Nothing could be further from the truth. A government with a heart would provide uplifting support to the needy - ours provides suppressive subsistence. A government with a heart would concentrate on productive outcomes - ours is dedicated to paralyzing procedures. A government with a heart would put protecting others first - our porous borders reveal bureaucrats and elected government officials dedicated to protecting their positions. Effectiveness would be a priority of any government with a heart - yet every department of our government fails performance and financial audits with embarrassing consistency. A government with a heart would be careful with other people's money - ours spends two dollars for every one it takes in. In truth, governments with a heart are like tin men with a heart - neither exists except in the imaginations of fantasy thinkers. Real heart is found in people prospering in the land of liberty, opportunity, and responsibility - that American Dream should never be confused for a liberal pipe dream...

Hi - this is Dr. Carl with today's candid conservative minute...

Though the conservative movement is blessed with some brilliant voices, it might be time for a drug screen on the studio water coolers. Some of the sharpest minds in the business are increasingly demonstrating behaviors typical to histrionic psychiatric patients. Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Ann Coutler can blow away the left with their wit and wisdom. More and more they seem to be trying to blow up their polls. Who the heck cares whose number 1? What conservatives care about is cognitively correct perspectives on social, governmental, religious, and other matters that bring us closer to truth. Slapstick comedy, head banger music, and juvenile presentations distract from and damage the essence of the discussion. Leave the polls, slapstick, and hysterics to the guys who are best at it - the leftheaded talking heads. Our important conservative voices need to get back on track with their compelling dedication to reality, reason, responsibility, and right. As has been proven, the polls will then take care of themselves...
