Hi - this is Dr. Carl with today candid conservative minute...

You probably didn't know New Orleans resident Larmondo Allen before he was murdered in a public housing development some years back. You may, however, find part of his obituary interesting. Larmondo 'Flair' Allen, an entrepreneur, died February 7 of gunshot wounds on Martin Luther King Boulevard. He was 25. Mr. Allen was a life-long resident of New Orleans. Survivors include his companion, Kawanner Armstrong; three sons and six daughters. Per his criminal record and work history, Mr. Allen's entrepreneurial specialties were fathering children out of wedlock, dealing drugs, and violence. This young man packed a lot of living into a quarter of a century. Unfortunately, his legacy includes several dead bodies and 9 children without a Dad or responsible provider. We all need to matter, but we do have choice about how we matter. Political correctness would suggest it insensitive to suggest Mr. Allen was a social predator of despicable character. Black comedian Moms Mabley once famously said, "My mama told me never to say anything bad about the dead - well, OK, he's dead - good...

Hi - this is Dr. Carl with today's candid conservative minute...

Though the conservative movement is blessed with some brilliant voices, it might be time for a drug screen on the studio water coolers. Some of the sharpest minds in the business are increasingly demonstrating behaviors typical to histrionic psychiatric patients. Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Ann Coutler can blow away the left with their wit and wisdom. More and more they seem to be trying to blow up their polls. Who the heck cares whose number 1? What conservatives care about is cognitively correct perspectives on social, governmental, religious, and other matters that bring us closer to truth. Slapstick comedy, head banger music, and juvenile presentations distract from and damage the essence of the discussion. Leave the polls, slapstick, and hysterics to the guys who are best at it - the leftheaded talking heads. Our important conservative voices need to get back on track with their compelling dedication to reality, reason, responsibility, and right. As has been proven, the polls will then take care of themselves...
